A struggling process of creating t-shirt designs.
Despite the free-range that was given to design the shirts,
I found myself struggling to come up with designs. I knew I wanted something simplistic yet eye-catching. Once I sat myself down and put on some music, the creative juice was flowing.

While listening to my music I got inspired for my first shirt design by a song from my favorite group called “Lullaby” by GOT7. I was specifically inspired by their album cover with the dark blue and purple sky and bright moon.
I was very picky and a perfectionist while making my first design. I wanted it to look exactly like my sketch and scoured the Internet for the perfect pictures.
With all my efforts, the shirt turned out the way I wanted it. However, I realized being too picky can limit my creative process. With that in mind, I was able to work on my second design with ease.
I had several ideas for the made-up event such as a Pho Night shirt with the event name being a pun: Phonemonal Night. I eventually decided to do a Retro Night event after being inspired by my
website colors and retro looks.

Both of my shirts were designed on Canva, a graphic-design tool website. I was very satisfied with how each of my shirt designs turn out and was able to learn new functions and aspects of the Canva website.
