A world full of dreams.

It's quite hard to describe what creativity means to me. To the best of my ability, I can say creativity is about dreaming big. Dreams and daydreams are definitely great creative spaces.
I once got the idea of having an art dream journal from an artist on instagram. Capturing my dreams and sometimes ideas from daydreams on paper sparked immense creativity in me.
Being able to let your imagination run wild allows for great inspiration. Even if it's the impossible, having that "think outside the box" mindset is possibly one of the keys to having a creative process.
When I'm daydreaming, my mind is always in space, quite figuratively. I'll be thinking about the stars, moon, and sometimes out-of-the-world things like my flying whale in my doodle.
I was drawn to fellow classmate, Reagan Adams, doodle because it reminded me of my own doodle and daydreams I have often. In her blog post, she mentions her love for space and the universe, something I can relate to.
On her doodle is a quote: "Non est ad astra mollis e terris via" written by Seneca the Younger, which means "There is no easy way from the earth to the starts." I interpret the quote and her drawing as saying that the creative journey can be hard, but all it takes is a little creativity to reach the impossible.

With that being said, her doodle inspired a different quote from me.
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." - Les Brown
It's quite a cheesy and overuse quote, but nonetheless emphasizes the point to dream big and aim big.
